We don't rush the making. Our rugs take shape slowly, by hand, from the first spin of the wool to the final trim. Skilled Moroccan weavers work with traditional techniques and natural wool, giving each stage the attention it deserves.
The work you don't see
Craftsmanship
Every rug is hand-knotted, one knot at a time, around the vertical warp. Knot by knot, the weave builds into a dense, durable structure with the softness of natural wool.
Our rugs have a 1–2 inch pile, balancing softness with structure. Depending on the size and design, the weaving can take weeks or even months to complete.
Time, skill, and many hands go into every rug
The final touch
Before a rug finds its way to you, it passes through the hands of our washers. With metal paddles and a steady rhythm, they beat and soften the wool, working dust from the fibres and opening up the pile. Water carries the remaining dust away, leaving the wool clean, soft, and ready for its final trim.
