LEAD TIME

Each Atlas Hands rug is made entirely by hand, from the first knot to the final wash, then left to dry naturally in the mountain air.

Due to this artisanal process, production times depend on size:

9´ x 12 ´ and smaller: approximately 10–12 weeks

Larger sizes: 12-14 weeks.

What the hands have made

Tailored Threads

Every rug is one of a kind. Handwoven from natural wool, each carries its own subtle patterns and colors, shaped by the weaver’s hand. Small differences in size and hue aren’t imperfections but they reflect the quiet authenticity of a Moroccan creation, unique to its home.

Soft Warmth

Our rugs are crafted with a knotted pile averaging 3 cm. If you’d like it a bit shorter or taller, just send us a note. Our Atlas Hands team will work with you to create the pile height that feels just right for your home.

Finishing Touch

Tassels have long been a signature of Moroccan rugs, adorning just one edge as part of a time-honored custom. You may select your rug with or without them. Each tassel measures between 10 and 15 cm, a small detail full of heritage.

Made to Last

Woven to last, each rug grows more beautiful with time. The natural wool and careful hand knotting ensure a piece that remains soft, resilient, and full of character for years to come.

BEHIND THE CRAFT

Woven Our Way

Each rug begins with raw wool, spun, dyed, and knotted by hand in the Atlas Mountains. The process is slow and deliberate, guided by tradition and shaped by the maker’s touch. What emerges is never rushed, never identical; just a rug woven our way, carrying the spirit of where it comes from.
